Excuse the pun name but, I've been wanting to paint a little bird ever since seeing Mike Beeman's inspiring ACEOs. The joy for me is in making the forms turn but not losing the chunky brushtrokes. I'm here because of the spots of color not because it's a ball (well two stuck together eh?) Doesn't it seem like it would be a shame if the strokes were carefully blended together in the name of realism?
