#208 Little Eggplant

2.5"x 3.5"(ACEO) oil on artboard Sold

Just a little eggplant because I thought was so cute. I'm still playin around with different artcard bases. Now Jerry's has artist trading card packs to paint on which is nice, but I still gotta gesso them black. The W&N water-soluble oil seems fine, but takes for ever to dry and is still kinda sticky. I'd like to try the lukas (because I love their oils) water-solubles, but I cant seem to find them a the local store in the colors I use (titaniam wht. cad yel lt. cad red lt. aliz crim. ultra blue, and thalo blue).

This is SO awesome!!! I love how you're able to so precisely see what the planes of the subject are, and define them so definitely with a mimimum of fuss.

I personally hate water-soluble oils. Tried 'em a couple of months and quit.
