#128 Early Spring


6" x 6" oil on masonite SOLD

We had a record high temp yesterday for February. We even had some flowers and trees start blooming. I grabbing these for painting before the cold hand of winter sets back in.

WOW ... I think this is your best yet.

I'm having a hard time remembering to block everything in before I get picky. When I get to my 120th painting maybe I will remember.

Thanks Nancy. It is hard to rememeber. SO easy to fall into obession with detail. I have to promise myself that I'll put in the major color shapes first, then critically compare them all to each other for hue,value,chroma before adding fun brushstokes, edges and color viations within a mass. Highlights of course are the most fun and hardest to wait on. :)
