#171 Toll Booth

6"x6" oil on masonite SOLD
This one is of the scene around a toll booth from the fishmonger's parking lot in Durham. I like how the squares of color were notching into one another.

the underlying abstract shapes make this such a nice composition, and I really like the way the electric meter (?) fits into it's environment, because it is absolutely the right value.
Congratulations on the new home. I hope you both are settling in and enjoying it.
