5"x7" oil on masonite Sold
Mom gave me this mug that I love. It was also really fun to paint. I don't know what it is about real pottery but I love to paint it. Seems like you get more color response from the glazing. Whenever I can find a good pottery piece, I snatch it up. You should see me at yard sales looking like a hawk. heh heh.

Really nice piece. The color and value of the shadow inside the cup is just right. That's such a hard color to get as most paint it too cool. It's warm, just right. The cast shadow is pushed too cool, but hey, that's just an opinion.
