6"x6" oil on masonite SOLD
I like this composition, color scheme but I think labored too much on it. I can feel that point in a painting where I'm working too hard and it's the wrong kind of work. It's like my brain has started working too hard and in left brain mode again. I also had a difficult time with chroma relationships. I couldn't seem to get parts of the shadow family dark enough but also chromatic enough. Funny not what I intended, but the grapes are my favorite part of this.
