6"x 6" oil on Masonite SOLD
This is Mason (or Mr. Grey) and this is his light. It has to be one of those bright white cloudy days outside. On those days he becomes a beautiful violet silver. He needs a lot of affection and If he could talk I think he would sound just like the lady's man.

Love the "portrait" of Mason. I'm continually amazed at how you can accomplish just the right look with the perfect brush stroke. Looks simple enough, but if you've made as many mistakes as I have trying to achieve the same thing, you realize how difficult that can be! Great use of light also.

I was really happy with how this came out really loose and brushy but with the hard lines I like. So glad you guys like it too. I'm even happier that it went to someone with an appreciation for her own pretty grey cat. :)
Ah such a sweety! I love your brushstrokes btw. And your use of colors as well.
