#181 Yellow Helper

6"x6" oil on masonite SOLD

I love trucks and vans. The squareness of them is just so clumsy cute. They are like the big dorky dogs of the streets. This little square meineke truck has been left, lonely and beautiful in a nearby parking lot. It's ready and waiting for a service call and is just looking to be noticed.

What a beautiful job you did with the values on the whole painting, but especially with the yellow truck! Inspiring!

Wow Jeff, the sense of light is spectacular in this one. I love the way that your paintings look like they could be melted photographs : )

Great use of color and composition. The truck just glows.

I love the whole scene with the funky flatroofed service shop in the background. Great light and shadows!
